Tail LightsNow everyone has tail lights on their car, but do you know what
they are for? They signal a stop, and on some vehicles the
same light is used to signal a turn. One of the faster ways to
get pulled over by the police is to have a tail light burned out.
Most times this happens, the car owner hasn't a clue as to why this
is a big deal. Though one light might do to warn the drivers
behind you in some cases, you should realize that it can confused
some people, and you may end up in an accident or causing an
accident. Your tail lights light up when you press on the
brake, and if one of them is not working the people behind you might
not notice. This might not be a big problem at night, but it
can throw off drivers who may think you are a motorcycle when they
see only one light. If you have tail lights out, you are more
likely to be in an accident, or to cause one. Either way, it’s
not a good situation. If you can’t properly let others know that you
are slowing down, turning, or stopping completely, they can’t
properly react. If you are in heavy traffic, this can affect
the long line of vehicles coming down the road behind you.
