Rainbow was a popular childrens TV series produced by Thames TV.
Some people say this was an internal "Christmas Tape" made by the production team to amuse their friends and family. This sort of thing was very common in the eighties and nineties. Others reckon this was for real, although I doubt it.
Very funny though!
I heard loads of people saying they didn't get the ad when this was first broadcast. The very fact that they were talking about the Cadbury Ad on TV meant that it had done the job and had people talking about the brand.

I recently attended our company roadshow at the SECC in Glasgow. This was a real upbeat, modern and positive event. The physcology behind the trapeze act was to promote the idea of trust and it worked! I left this event feeling completely motivated and geared up. Well done AXA!

Part of the 'Good Things Come to Those who Wait' campaign, the ad uses the metaphor of Hawaiian surfers waiting for the ultimate wave to reflect anticipation for the perfect pint of Guinness.
