VB-5 is a 1/8" thick nitrile and neoprene composite foam that has a pressure sensitive adhesive backing. VB-5 is for gasketing and cushioning application.VB-5 acts as thin, lightweight cushion foam that pads and isolates. The nitrile rubber helps to reinforce the neoprene cell walls; this minimizes the foam's ability to take on a compression set.
VB-5 is designed to be placed between plastic trim and sheet metal panels to keep rattles and buzzing from occurring. It is also functional as a cushion behind upholstery, diffuser for tweeters and weather stripping. Suitable for exterior applications. It is imperious to water and harsh chemicals
